Corbin Residence: “A spectacular garden to match a spectacular home.”

By Melanie | Published: December 20th, 2012

This recently completed landscape is a true testament to fantastic clients. We started the project by asking them for their wish list.  This is what they said, “Make it water conscious but look good, and we hate to see the ugly dirt on the ground.”

So we added light, color and sound and used various contrasting pebbles to create a striking curvaceous pattern on the ground to lead you through the garden.

The accent succulent plantings add color, form and texture to the ground, and the fountains provide sound to this space.

We just recently finished this fabulous garden for a friend of ours. She has great taste since she is also a graphic artist and designer herself.

Check out her web site at

Any small outdoor area can be livened up with an addition of a garden. This mini jewel garden adds color and texture to a home with a variety of plants and finishes. Succulent plantings and pebbled hardscape provide a great solution for low maintenance garden which is also water conscious.

The use of striking color sets off the concrete wall and brings attention to the entry way to the house.
